Welcome to Silver Dollar, a Shepherd Hut hand built throughout by us in our own workshops. Because we control every step in the construction of our huts, we can be certain that you will enjoy your stay with us.

Originally these huts were for agricultural workers, mostly shepherds working away from the farm, but we have taken the idea and added the luxury you would expect on a 5 Star holiday experience! Silver Dollar offers a taste of the original huts, but set in a beautiful lakeside location laced with a twist of luxury.

• All Towels and Linens provided although you may wish to bring extra towels for your use in the hot tub.
• HotTub available for use by guests only.
• We advise you to shower before you enter and after you leave your hot tub. Fake tans and body lotions/oils can have a detrimental effect on the quality of the water in the hot tub and also damage the furnishings within the hot tub.
• Charcoal firepit style barbecue.
• Check in can be anytime after 4pm check out on day of departure is by 11am.
• We will accept one well behaved dog please click here for dog’s T&C’S
• Fishing is included in the price, you will need to bring your own fishing gear and have the appropriate licence but we now supply the Landing Net, Cradle and Retainer Sling so no need to bring your own.

NEW PRICES JANUARY 2023

         Silver Dollar  (Minimum 2 Night Stay)

• £145.00 Plus VAT (per night – Mid-Week)
• £165.00 Plus VAT (per night – Weekend Friday/ Saturday)
• £412.50 Plus VAT  (3x Night Weekend Rate – Sunday Night Half Price)
• In addition we will require a £100.00 Refundable Housekeeping/ Damage Deposit.

EXTRAS

• Gas Bottles can be purchased for £31.50.  Please contact the office to arrange, we will require 72 hours notice.
• Dog Fee £20.00 plus VAT per stay.
• Hot Tubs – due to exceptional increase of utility costs we will now be making an additional charge of £25.00 plus VAT per Night.  This must be booked in advance allowing 72 hours notice.

(All bookings already confirmed before December 2022 will not be affected by this increase).

BOOKING POLICY 

25% Deposit to secure your stay at time of booking.
Balance due 30 days before your holiday.

Returning Guests are entitled to 10% Loyalty Discount, please specify at time of booking.  This discount can not be used in conjunction with any other offer.

We strongly advise you take out Holiday Insurance to cover any unforeseen cancellations including coronavius.

Please note we are an over 18’s site. We are unable to accept babies, infants or children under the age of eighteen. Should you have guests come and visit you during your stay the same conditions apply.
